In 2010 I was selected as 1 of the UK’s top 40 new emerging talent to take part of ‘One Year On’ at the New Designers show in London. This involved working with Thorsten Van Elten as our head curator in producing a show which made us stand out from the masses of people that would be com- peting with a chance of appealing to the creative industry. This was an inter- esting learning curve for me as although I had been a part of similar things before, this time I was working with a completely new team of people, each with their own ideas how the show should look and reflect their work. I think this was a good chal- lenge for me as it’s always good to get involved with a new project and converse with new people, it’s the best way to keep the creative industry fresh and exciting.
